Development and validation of humming process to increase heart rate variability & attention for college students

Aim: The objective of the study was to compare impact daily 10 min humming practice for one week on heart-brain coherence and attention college students. Methodology: evidence indicates that increased facilitates better emotional regulation thereby increases attention. Simple identified as a method increase coherence. Each student assigned randomly an experimental group or control group. (n= 15) performed 10-minutes 7 days (n=15) not asked do anything. 10-minute simplified Bhramari with total breath duration 13 seconds based short training. SDMT (Symbol Digit Modalities Test) Heart Brain Coherence (using Emwave Pro Device by HeartMath Inc.) conducted both groups Day 1 7. Statistical analysis using student-t test understand results.
